Met zijn Bell Table-ontwerp, dat zijn samenwerking met ClassiCon in 2012 inluidde en de eerste stap van de ontwerper naar internationale erkenning was, zette Sebastian Herkner onze gebruikelijke perceptie van materialen op zijn kop. Herkner bereikt dit effect opnieuw op een fascinerende manier met zijn Plissée Vloerlamp: de lampenkap, als een sensuele, gewichtloze lichtballon, balanceert op een metalen basis. De truc: wat doet denken aan kunstig geplooid textiel is in werkelijkheid mondgeblazen glas. Een uitgebreid ambachtelijk productieproces maakt dit zachte, textielachtige visuele effect mogelijk en daarmee de realisatie van Herkner's visie. Een dimbare LED-lichtbron creëert het individueel gewenste niveau van gezelligheid. Het ontwerp van de Plissee Vloerlamp verenigt dus traditioneel vakmanschap met een industrieel component – en draagt, niet in de laatste plaats door deze combinatie, de onmiskenbare signatuur van Sebastian Herkner.

These mousepads have a subtle gray or even bluish-gray tint that will slightly distort the color of any image pressed directly on them. The result is that no design containing white will look quite right and other colors may look a little faded or a bit off-color. Overall good buy, but these have some limitations when using sublimation ink and not HTV products. Will likely buy again as end result was a happy customer after some design elements were modified.
