The Pro Tools Dock from Avid is an ergonomic EUCON control surface for integrating the company's free Pro Tools Control app on an iPad ( iPad not included ). The Dock is based on the touchscreen workflows found on the Master Touch Module of the flagship Pro Tools S6 controller. The Dock's hybrid approach features a physical fader, knobs, and switches in conjunction with touchscreen technology for executing fast navigation, metering, and on-screen plug-in control. And when the Dock is paired with the optional Pro Tools S3, the user gains enhanced functionality with the dedicated automation switches, transport controls, weighted aluminum jog wheel, color-coded Soft Key switches, and more.
