The palate is freshly textured, with lovely weight and balance, and a long strawberries and cream finish. This wine is drinking well now but can be cellared for up to 4 years. The grapes for this wine were sourced from four of Falconhead's Hawkes Bay vineyards Riverview, Colefield, Kinross and Tantallon. The grapes were machine harvested

The grapes for this wine were sourced from four of Falconhead's Hawke’s Bay vineyards – Riverview, Colefield, Kinross and Tantallon.
The grapes were machine harvested and transported to the Riverview winery where they were pressed off immediately to limit colour extraction. The juice was settled then racked off for fermentation using a variety of yeasts but primarily Actiflore Rose. The resulting wines were transported to our Katikati winery where they were finished and bottled.
Food Pairing: Salads, pasta and rice dishes, fish – especially salmon.
