COMP Cams Push Rods 7973-12 The pushrod is one of the most important pieces of the valve train, but all too often it's taken for granted. Pushrods not only have to be strong enough to not fail, bend or burn up at the ends, they must also match the frequency of all the rest of the parts in the valve train, as well as the rpm at which the engine will be run. Today's all-out race engines demand the highest quality components at every step, and COMP Cams Hi-Tech Pushrods fill that requirement. Hi-Tech Pushrods feature a one-piece design from .080? wall, seamless chromemoly tubing that ensures the ultimate in strength and durability. Ends are precision formed, yielding added thickness and strength in the critical tip area, while maintaining constant wall thickness and concentricity. The pushrods are then heat-treated for maximum strength to ensure compatibility with guide plates. They are O.D. ground for consistency and black-oxide finished with length and part number laser etched on the O.D. for ease of identification. Avoid at all costs. Rusty and not stable. Confusing customer service.

Do not buy!!! Cheap product and bad customer service! The product is rusted upon delivery. It is not stable and will not hold an umbrella rated for 22lb stand upright with water alone. They wanted me to refill the stand and send them pictures of the tilt even though the rust should warrant a full refund with shipping covered, if they were a good company. The company is giving me the run around on a return and conflicting information. They said they I would have to pay for the return, then that they would, then and try keep trying to offer me a discounted rate and charging me shipping. Here is a copy of the communication. They offered $10 telling me that rust is not covered in their warranty, even if it arrived rusty!
First message: "After the returned item is delivered to our warehouse with no issue, we will return your amount."
Second message: "Generally, rust can be caused by many factors and is not typically covered under our warranty. However, as a valued customer, we’d like to offer you a USD 10 price return if you choose to keep and continue using the base as it is.
Please let us know if this solution works for you, and we will process it right away."

Cost Effective Good Weighted Base

Strong metal pole to hold the umbrella and thick plastic base that feels very well made. Very simple to put together with the provided allen-wrench, just took time to make sure it was very tight. Got it for my neighbor's umbrella. Make sure you have it where you want it before filling it. It is unfilled at the moment and yet still has helped the umbrella stay stable. I like the look of it and that it can be used with or without a table. I really like the idea that if you have another long pole items that it can be used for those as well. The double lock design is a nice feature. Inexpensive.
