Meet a cleansing mousse designed for sensitive, Asian skin that deserves extra-gentle care. Avène Mousse Detergente Cleansing Foam 150ml is a soap-free, lightweight cleanser that washes away makeup and impurities from the face and eyes without stripping moisture, leaving skin feeling soft, balanced, and refreshed.

  • Soap-free, ultra-gentle base crafted to respect delicate skin while delivering an effective cleanse.
  • Specifically designed for Asian skin in need of extra-gentle care or with low tolerance to cleansing products.
  • Gently tightens pores through a mild cleansing action that helps reduce shine without harsh scrubbing.
  • Glutamic acid helps rebalance excess sebum, keeping oiliness in check throughout the day.
  • Moisturizing agents restore softness, so skin feels comfortable after washing—never tight or dry.
  • Avène thermal water provides soothing and softening benefits to calm sensitive skin.
  • Eye and face cleanser capable of removing makeup and impurities from both areas with a single, gentle sweep.
  • Suitable for normal and combination skin seeking a reliable, non-irritating daily cleanse.
  • Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic design minimizes irritation and won’t clog pores.

How to use

  1. Moisten hands and face with lukewarm water.
  2. Dispense a small amount of mousse and massage in gentle circular motions over the face and eye area.
  3. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Follow with your preferred moisturizer for lasting comfort.

Why this cleanser stands out

Unlike ordinary foaming cleansers that can strip moisture, this soap-free formula respects the skin’s natural balance while delivering a thorough cleanse. The combination of glutamic acid and moisturizing agents targets oil control and softness, so you get shine reduction without dryness. Avène thermal water adds a layer of soothing comfort, making it a trustworthy choice for daily use on normal and combination skin prone to irritation or sensitivity.

Ideal for

  • People with Asian skin needing an extra-gentle, non-irritating cleanser
  • Anyone looking to remove makeup and impurities from face and eyes in one step
  • Those who prefer a hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic cleanser that won’t clog pores

Make Avène Mousse Detergente Cleansing Foam 150ml part of your daily skincare ritual for a calm, balanced complexion that feels fresh after every wash.

An essential book on U.S. race and capitalism!
Format: Paperback
One of the most important books on race and capitalism ever written. Such a nuanced study of the California penal system that includes the racist structure of the United States’ criminal justice system, but goes far beyond to analyze how capitalism and profit drive politicians, police, investors, landowners, and working class people—white and Black—to expand the prison system in an age of dropping crime rates. I teach it regularly to undergraduates and graduate students, and it drives fascinating discussions.

Format: Paperback
If anyone has mastered the political economy and geography of prisons in California, it is Ruth Wilson Gilmore in Golden Gulag. Gilmore does a great job of discussing and parceling out the very complex and complicated relationships that exist between capitalism as a system that produces our material world alongside economic crises, and the function of prisons to absorb, manage, relocate and "hide" those very crises in the era of neoliberalism. She also skillfully reminds us over and over that it is black and brown working-class poor communities that bear the brunt of this kind of system that also expresses it's power via white supremacy. I am finding this book very useful and chock-full of interesting information for my current research. People may find the book a difficult read because it loaded with information and technicalities they are unfamiliar with, but these are good reasons to struggle with a text and truly grasp the increasingly intricate processes that determine and guide the world we live in (and the places we may end up locked in!). As Marx said, there is no royal road to science and knowledge.
