This listing is for one 100g skein of handpainted gradient yarn. Great for lacework shawls! Alternate multiple skeins of the same colorway for larger projects or combine colorways for a fade style project. Try holding two strands together for a squishy DK weight fabric.

My Lleaf line of gradient yarns are made from my own sock blanks and carefully handpainted with professional acid dyes in a semisolid gradient for depth and texture in your finished object. The bamboo content of this yarn adds strength, drape and sheen to your finished object.

80% SW Merino
20% Bamboo
Fingering weight, 4-ply
Recommended needle size US 1-3

This listing is for one approximately 100g ball of yarn, pre-wound into a convenient center-pull cake.
Photos may show the same colorway wound from different ends to display the spectrum of the gradient.
The yarn you receive may be wound from either end. If you have a preference, please let us know in the Notes to Seller box during checkout.

Care instructions:
We recommend gentle hand washing in cold water with your favorite wool wash and drying flat in order to maximize the life of your creations, although you may machine wash gentle on cold and air fluff to dry.

This product comes from a smoke-free household, but not a cat-free one.
The cat however, does not come into direct contact with any of the fiber.

This yarn is rinsed in water containing a touch of lavender oil.

Is the Bible Really Unique?

Oswalt takes up the question of the uniqueness of the Christian Bible by focusing on the Old Testament (which is also the holy book of the Jews) and its similarities and differences to the myths of the periods in which it was put together. His comparison and contrast make for very interesting reading. He allows the two world views to stand alone, allowing the reader to understand his conclusions without forcing him/her to agree with the author. In reading this book, I also began to notice some very interesting parallels between the ancient worldview of "continuity" (versus the biblical view that Oswalt calls "transcendence") and some modern views being espoused in the Western world. Definitely worth a read whether or not you agree with him. It will help broaden your view both of your view and of the other side's view.

However, this book at times seems somewhat philosophical, it can be hard to follow the author's logic, and it does not adequately cover one of the most fundamental questions the author poses. For example, the question of whether the theology of the Bible should receive special credence if the historical basis it rests on is found to be incorrect is asked, but the answer given is short and does not fully interact with the question which I found to be very disappointing.
