Kuassa 에서  Amplifikation Caliburn ($49) 라는 이름의 앰프 시뮬레이션 플러그인을 발표하였습니다. 

이 제품은 VST/VST3/AU/AAX plug-in 포맷을 모두 지원합니다.

 

이 플러그인은  Marshall 의 유명한 앰프 JTM45, JCM800, JCM900 의 사운드를 그대로 모델링 하였다고 합니다. 

해당 앰프를 모델링한 플러그인은 많지만 Kuassa 에서는 자체 개발한 "3세대 electric circuit simulation" 기술이 들어가서 기타 연주자들이 아주 다이나믹한 앰프 사운드 경험을 할 수 있도록 만들어졌다고 합니다. 다른 앰프 시뮬레이션과 비교했을때 연주시에 아주 다른 느낌을 받을 것이라고 이 회사의 기술 이사는 설명을 하고 있습니다

 

"closer feel to a real guitar amp playing experience" 이라는 목표로 연주자가 실제 앰프의 느낌을 깊게 받을 수 있도록 3세대 시뮬레이션 기술을 적용하였다고 합니다.
