Didot is a simple font, it doesnÕt call attention to itself, therefore directing the readerÕs attention more to the text than the design. Creating a gradient throughout the book with gray tints, aids in the narrative because the colors of the pages reflect the cycle of night and day, a central theme in the story. When information on the grandmother is given, the pages remain a similar tint.
