Building on the foundation of the popular Mars 4K, the Pyro H moves to a dual-band framework (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) to drastically improve range and combat signal interference on busy sets.

1. Dual-Band Technology & Range
Unlike older 5 GHz-only systems that drop frames when too many Wi-Fi signals crowd the airwaves, the Pyro H utilizes Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH). It constantly flips between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz to find the cleanest channel.

Standard Mode: Transmits up to 1,300 feet (400 meters) line-of-sight to 2 receivers and 2 mobile devices.

Broadcast Mode: Drops the range to 650 feet (200 meters) but allows the transmitter to connect to up to 4 physical receivers simultaneously.
2. Video Formats & Performance Modes
The system handles up to UHD 4K at 30/25/24 fps as well as standard 1080p up to 60 fps. It has an average latency of about 60ms and offers two transmission priorities:

HD Mode: Locks the bitrate at its highest potential (around 8–12 Mbps) to guarantee the crispest image quality for critical focus-pulling or client monitoring.

Smooth Mode: Dynamically reduces bitrate when the signal gets weak or goes long-distance to keep the frame rate smooth and lower latency.
3. UVC Streaming (Plug-and-Play)
One of the best updates on the Pyro series is the inclusion of native UVC (USB Video Class). You can connect the receiver directly to a laptop using a USB-C cable, and the computer will recognize the wireless feed instantly as a webcam. This completely eliminates the need for an external capture card when streaming to OBS, Zoom, or YouTube.

⚠️ Note on Powering: While the USB-C power option is incredibly useful for saving weight on gimbals, it cannot supply enough juice to power the transmitter when it is running in Broadcast Mode. If you plan to link to 4 receivers, you must use an NP-F battery or the standard DC input barrel.
If you are choosing between the models, keep in mind that the Pyro H is strictly HDMI-only. If your workflow requires SDI connectivity for professional broadcast cameras or production monitors, you will want to look at the Pyro S instead.
