About the Flag
"The flag of Brunei is divided by a white black stripe, starting from the top of the left side of the yellow floor and separating the flag crosswise. There is a national emblem in the middle of the flag.
The yellow color in the flag represents the sultan of Brunei. The red symbol consists of a crescent facing upwards with two hands facing sideways. Black and white lines represent Brunei’s chief ministers. As the crescent symbolizes Islam, the umbrella symbolizes the monarchy and the hands symbolize the benevolence of the government."
