The K&N 69-8704TP Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Lexus GS350 and IS350 models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake tubing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air intake for a guaranteed power gain. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-8704TP air intake comes with a replacement K&N high-flow air filter and an aluminum intake tube that easily connects to your vehicle's factory air box and throttle body. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory crank case vent hose. The air filter can be used for up to 50,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake system is designed for easy installation and requires commonly available tools to do the job. Some Typhoon air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Time will tell
I’m always weary about how little or how much I spend on wiper blades. Typically wiper blades are a great example of you get what you pay for. When I’m looking to replace blades, though, I’ll often try and see what’s out there before I go spend $25 a piece on wipers. I came across these and they’re highly praised and so I figured why not. I cannot speak on their durability and longevity, but I can comment on my experience with them so far.
These are plastic blades. Keep that in mind. They are not heavy or rigid like a metal blade, but also don’t feel super cheap either. The quality of plastic seems adequate for what these things cost. Install is easy, and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. What I’m very impressed with is how clean of a wipe it makes. They don’t leave anything behind and I haven’t experienced any chatter. I don’t expect these to last as long as premium blades, but I also don’t make gamble purchases like this expecting unrealistic results. If they do happen to have a decent lifespan, then it’s a pleasant surprise and a great value.
