Anthony D?Amato releases his forthcoming album, 'The Shipwreck from the Shore,? a riveting 10-track collection. The NYC-based songwriter is growing from his early homespun self-recorded solo acoustic work to a more ambitious, full-band sound. The album was recorded at the Great North Sound Society, an 18th Century farmhouse-turned-studio deep in the woods of Maine, and features Matt McCaughan of Bon Iver on drums, Brad Cook of Megafun on bass, and producer/keyboardist Sam.

Daughter loved her gift…

The throw came in a box; it was very heavy. I did not open the box. I wrapped it instead. It was fluffy, and beautiful! My daughter loved it, it was one of the gifts she really wanted for Christmas. It is a great throw for a couch, and I’ve been told it’s warm, comfortable, and nicely made. The value for the price was also excellent. It’s beautiful; anyone would be happy to showcase this in their living room, and of course it’s highly functional - daughter says that it is so snuggly, warm, and the size is perfect!

Lovely Throw, But Falls Short of Luxurious
I really like this two-sided throw, with its plush fur-like material on one side and silky velveteen on the other. The texture is warm and silky, and the color complements my sofa beautifully. However, while it’s a nice blanket, it doesn’t quite measure up to the same size throw I bought a month ago from a local German “here today, gone tomorrow” store. That European snuggle bundle, priced at a single Benjamin, has my entire family stealing it from one another.
This throw could benefit from being a bit heavier, with a loftier fur side and thicker velvet to feel more luxurious—especially at twice the cost of the blanket we all love. ( black Friday/cyber Monday dropped it eight dollars) Without any discounts, the price feels inflated for what it is. It’s still a lovely addition to my home, but it falls short of five stars even at the discount price on the day of this review.
