This heavyweight jacket is ultra warm, thanks to the natural insulation of high quality 600 fill power duck down and feathers filling, and is also fully breathable. There are fully taped seams and a water repellent coating, so rain simply beads off if the heavens open, as they often do when you 're in Yorkshire where this piece was designed. The warm, quilted lining feels soft and cosy against the skin and there is a fixed hood with toggle adjusters at the front and a Velcro adjuster at the back, so you can shape it round your face when the wind blows. There are also stretchy inner snowcuffs with discreet thumbholes to keep your hands warm when the temperature drops.
