Preparations for the Grand National Steeplechase of 1933 began as early as two months ago when George H. ("Pete") Bostwick, on his way to California for a winter of polo, announced that he planned to ride, one of his own horses at Aintree next year. Preparing for this year's Grand National on March 18, Richard King ("Dick") Mellon, affable young vice president of Mellon National Bank of Pittsburgh and nephew of Ambassador Andrew William Mellon, last week packed his bags in Manhattan to sail for England on the Bremen. Waiting for him there were his two Grand National entries, Alike and Glangesia. Alike won one of the Grand National trials a year ago but finished the race far back in the field, while Glangesia came in seventh. Glangesia, a 12-year-old Irish horse, ridden by his Irish jockey, James Ryan, last autumn won the International Steeplechase at Grasslands Downs, Tenn. In his exuberance "Dick" Mellon told friends that, if he won the Grand National, he would buy a Fierce-Arrow automobile and "give it away."

This year, because qualifying tests were introduced to eliminate low-grade jumpers cluttering the field, entries have been reduced from 85 last year to 58. John Hay ("Jock") Whitney's Easter Hero, who was favorite last year, was retired at Upperville, Va., but the three horses who finished ahead—Grakle, Gregalach and Annandale—were entered again. Among the others were Sea Soldier, a nine-year-old gelding by Man O' War; "Jock" Whitney's Dusty Foot; Gordon Selfridge's steady jumper, Ruddyman; and four of Morgan D. Blair's horses—Ballyhanwood, Prince Cherry, Great Span and Aruntius.

Most celebrated and most dangerous of all steeplechase races, the Grand National was run for the first time in 1839. Most famous of its 16 jumps is Becher's Brook, a five-foot hedge in front of a five-and-a-half-foot ditch. The average odds on Grand National winners have been 15 to 1; their average time, 9 min., 55 sec. for 4½ mi.

High Transfer, Bright Colors & No Ghosting
Size: 8.5"*14", Color: 150 sheets, Size: 8.5"*14", Color: 150 sheets
This HTVRONT sublimation paper 8.5x14 inch has been excellent for my sublimation projects. The 120gsm weight feels sturdy and feeds smoothly through my inkjet printer without jams or curling. It holds ink well, which helps produce clean, sharp prints before pressing. The transfer results are impressive. Colors come out vibrant and true, with strong detail and no dull or faded areas. I’ve had very little ghosting, and designs transfer evenly onto shirts, mugs, and other sublimation blanks. The claimed high transfer rate really shows in the final results. I also like the larger 8.5x14 size, which gives extra space for bigger designs or multiple smaller prints on one sheet. The paper releases well during pressing, leaving minimal residue and clean edges. Pros: ✔ Bright, vibrant color transfer ✔ Minimal ghosting or smudging ✔ Smooth printer feeding ✔ Great for shirts, mugs, and hard blanks ✔ Good value for the sheet count Cons: – Must be used with sublimation ink – Requires correct heat press settings for best results Overall, this HTVRONT sublimation paper is a reliable choice for anyone doing sublimation printing who wants strong color transfer, crisp detail, and consistent results. Great for both beginners and small business use.

Thin but with extra step works great
Size: 8.5"*11", Color: 150 sheets
It sublimated great but it’s thinner than what I normally use so it take an extra step to not have over lapping but it’s cheaper and you get more so definitely worth the price

Works great as advertised

Working great so far! Enjoying starting doing sublimation work. A rookie a few weeks in and it's going well. Print quality is decent. Not having paper jam issues. Was easy to setup. I had to goto Epson and download a current print driver to get all the print properties and printer settings I needed. Was easy. After I installed the 2nd driver and saw it worked better, then I uninstalled the 1st epson driver. Helped allow for 8.5 x 14 page size and high quality. Just a few options needed that were not showing on the original print driver. Took me a few days to figure out what was going on. It helped with the quality of the prints after I got the better driver. So the end product is better also.

Prints great, wifi was an issue
Style: Printer & Inks
Got the printer a week ago and have printed something every day so far and the quality of the prints have been fantastic. Arrived and set up without any major issues, other than not being able to connect to my local wifi. Had to get an Ethernet cable to connect to it.
