Mind chatter and a common fungal infection

You have in your hands a story of 22 years of effort to understand the cause of 'voices' and the search to find an effective treatment. Written like a detective mystery, you'll read about our successes - and our failures - as we slowly solved this baffling and heartbreaking problem. Filled with unexpected twists and turns, we eventually discovered that the underlying cause of all these symptoms is a common fungal infection located inside the cells themselves.

More than just voices

Our species is capable of such amazing heights - yet struggles with cultural limitations, prejudices and war. Completely unsuspected until now, the same pandemic fungal disease that causes 'voices' is at the root of these terrible global problems.

Simple, fast treatments

Written for laypeople and professionals alike, these pages introduce the concepts necessary to understand the biological origin of these symptoms. But theory is not enough for the millions of people who suffer from these problems - we include simple, fast, non-drug and well-tested treatment techniques based on the newly emerging fields of subcellular psychobiology and psycho-immunology.

Should have been longer
Format: Paperback
A great series. Wish it was a bit longer. N.K. Jemisin and Jamal Campbell did a great job. The book arrived faster than expected. DC compacts are pretty decent.

One of the Best GL Stories
Format: Paperback
This book was a standout. A new Lantern is great, especially since we don't have to focus on a previously established lantern. Lots of good mystery and detective style story telling. I loved the art style. The smaller size of the book didn't do anything specific for me, but I could see how someone would like it. Definitely need more stories with Jo

A Modern Classic
Format: Paperback
As a long time Green Lantern fan I can honestly say this is one of the BEST Green Lantern stories of the past decade! The art & writing blend together to make an engaging and exciting experience! A must buy for GL fans old and new! And a great way to introduce the concept to new readers.

Good story, poor material
Format: Paperback
This was an interesting story, great illustrations with good dialogue. However, the compact comic binding is very questionable. The paper is good and the print is vivid, but the book literally doesn't hold up. I know that they are cheap (got mine for about $9), but every single compact comic I've bought (court of owls, Gotham City Sirens, and this green lantern story) falls apart. These appear to be single use (or half use) only. Unless you have patex or some other paper-friendly adhesive to reinforce the spine, it might make more sense to wait for a sale to buy the larger versions of these stories (except Gotham City Sirens, had some good moments, but I wouldn't recommend buying it compact or otherwise).
