The hypnotic, delicate strum of the kora, the harp-like instrument strung on a halved gourd, has been a trademark of West African music for centuries. Gambian Griot Kora Duets (1979), featuring the master player Alhaji Bai Konte and his equally influential son Dembo Konte and Ma Lamini Jobate, is a remarkable recording that documents an evolution in the kora's use in the traditional music of the Gambia. The album, made in Dembo and Alhjai Bai Konte's living space, shows the musicians incorporating complex, polyrhythmic arrangements. Though these musicians are intrinsically linked to the Jali tradition of griot families in West Africa, in which kora players are the historians and record keepers of local cultures, these recordings, with their stylistic flourishes, marked a new beginning for international interest in the kora. Dembo Konte went on to tour internationally, performing on John Peel's legendary BBC program in 1989 and collaborating with the influential group Mustaphas 3. This reissue is part of Smithsonian Folkways Vinyl Reissue Series, bringing to light gems from the extensive collection and revisiting some of the most iconic and influential albums released by the label. This album is being released alongside other international classics Tuareg Music of the Southern Sahara and Calypso Travels by Lord Invader.

Great bra, pretty true to size, comfortable. Ordered one in fall and tried several other name brand underwire bras (lane bryant, Victoria Secret, Bali, Torrid, Hanes), returned most of them and came back for two more colors of this brand that I’d never heard of before. The material is nice, they fit well, I wash in cold on delicate and hang dry: so far so good. I normally take a 42C and went 44 for these. I think a 42 probably woulda been ok (I’m on the middle hook) but someone said they ran small. I’m not sure of that but keep it in mind if you’re maybe between sizes.

The BEST BRA for big bewbs!

I've been a fan of Delimira for a while - it's hard to find a well made, comfortable, breathable bra for larger cup sizes at a price that doesn't require taking out a mortgage to afford it.
I love this bra. It fits well, it's comfortable, it doesn't get hot, it seems really durable, and it's...sturdy. The underwire is not annoying, and while it's not the cutest bra, it's also not the most matronly bra I own. I have it in all three available colors and will 100% buy more colors should they ever release them.

Comfortable bra. Good price but the wire popped out on one side after about 8 times of wearing it. Maybe it was the way I laundered it. It’s comfortable enough to want to order again and test that theory.

Love love love this bra.

I dont really write reviews but really felt like I needed to hop on here and give one. I have a terrible time finding bras that fit (small frame and my boobs never shrunk back down after having kids). I was initially looking for a non-underwire bra and ordred a couple to try. Was annoyed when this came in having underwire but thought ok, well its here so may as well try it. Fit like a dream so I told myself, Ill wear it for an hour and see how I feel about it then. I totally forgot I was wearing it. It is SO comfortable. The back doesnt ride up, I dont have underboob, it breathes nicely, holds me up, straps dont dig in or fall down, and I dont feel a huge sense of relief after taking it off at the end of the day. Ive ordered two more and after a few weeks of wearing and washing a couple times, I still absolutely love it.

The PERFECT bra!

I typically don't write reviews...but I just had to with this bra! I have not worn an underwire bra in years. I have had such a hard time finding something that is comfortable, supportive and does not allow for overflow. This bra is perfect! The material is soft and stretchy. It covers everything and does it comfortably! It also provides a perfect lift! The color is a perfect skin tone. Pretty sure I will be buying more!
