In the style of a 'Time Traveller', Matura presents a crystal clear singer/songwriter album that (with the exception of the two bonus tracks) completely does without vocals. Impossible? Wrong! Roger Matura, the Folk, Rock and Blues poet from the Ruhr Valley, released his first recordings on the legendary Folkways label and continues to enthral ever-larger audiences with his intense, rasping voice. In addition to Matura's texts, which are a far cry from everyday song lyrics, he creates sound collages like little pearls between the individual songs of his musical program, using the instruments to further enhance the emotional essence of his pieces. In 'Time Traveller', Matura perfects this remarkable ability, narrating his stories using purely compositional means. He takes us on a journey back in time, when life was waiting to be discovered and anything could happen from the wealth of possibilities... He narrates stories of fleeting encounters, as two people briefly catch each other's eye in 'Notturno For A Moondancin' Lady', and one senses how nothing can ever be the same again... In 'Poor Gigolo Me', he connects the past with the present and regards a young man in a bar with quiet irony how he leans on the bar and is overwhelmed by his own coolness... 'Dead Moon' expresses how it feels when solitude becomes a welcome guest and longing a blessing... His subliminal anger is apparent in 'Iraqueiraque', which is all too natural in view of the widespread unrest in the world... 'Too Much Talk' makes a forceful statement against wordiness... It is a predominantly peaceful album, powerful, sensitive and almost melancholic were it not for repeated moments of self-irony and the clearly tangible idea of change that avoids any sentimentality. The multi-instrumentalist Roger Matura (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, mellotron, accordion, harmonica, percussion, vocals) gathered a group of high quality musicians in the studio for their musical interpretation of 'Time Traveller'. They include Klaus Hoffmann-Hook (mellotron), who is well-known for his own World/Electronic Music project 'mind over matter', Thomas Kagermann (violin), Armin Dahm (mini moog, fender rhodes), Jürgen Goldschmidt (bass), Carsten Krey (guitar), Ean Gidman (brass) and Dane Roberts (double bass), who is well known both as a bassist and a viola da gamba player in the field of classical and Baroque music. The special nature of 'Time Traveller' lies not least in the songs' arrangements. The discerning use of instrumental rarities, such as the mellotron, a kind of 'historical sampler', in combination with 'classical' instruments such as the double bass and piano, as well as wind instruments, allows Matura to achieve more than a quotation from past decades: 'Time Traveller' is an authentic review and a homage to life itself...

Best Boxer Briefs for Women!

I rarely give 5⭐️’s but these deserve it! Hands down, the most comfortable material, stitching, waistband, moisture wicking and overall comfort. They sit right beneath my bellybutton, they wash and dry well and they’re sturdy. I have tried 3 styles and these are the best.

Super soft and comfortable!
I haven't bought new underwear in forever. I used to wear thongs, but now find them incredibly uncomfortable. The last few times I've tried to buy new underwear, the sizing was either way off (I'm a medium, but gave up after having to return them for a large and then extra large) or the quality was horrible (two brands stretch waaaay out and they can fall down while wearing them (I have larger ass-ets, so they shouldn't start to slide down during use). I tried these after buying some bamboo pyjamas and I love them! They are incredibly soft, comfortable, and stretchy. I can use them all day, and they work well, whether I'm lounging on the couch or wearing them under my spandex shorts at the gym, they don't ride up or slide down. They are both comfortable and look sexy, while providing support in all the right places. I haven't had them too long, so I can't speak on the durability, but they appear to be of good quality and I plan to order more, this time without the band.

These bamboo underwear really do keep you cool.
They fit true to size, and wear easily. the wide elastic waist band doesn't roll on me.
They are comfortable to wear, washed and dried easily.
The material has some stretch to it, but not a lot.

Good quality, smooth feel
I got these briefs so recently that have washed just one pair so far. First off, these are very comfortable, the material is soft & bordering silky, good quality sewing. Wash well and minimal if any shrinkage. They do come a bit wrinkled from the dryer but hey, these are underwear and will go on smoothly. If it were a t-shirt, I would look sloppy. I feel the sizing is accurate. No rolling and these don't announce themselves under clothing. Planning on getting more of these boxers and replacing my old panties.

A little snug on the thighs

Super comfy, soft and thin. For reference, I'm 5'6", 135, athletic build. I bought medium. I almost returned them because I thought they were a bit too snug on my thighs, and my thighs are not large at all. I was concerned about panty lines under snug clothing. But, because they're thin, I figured they would probably stretch, so I kept them. So far, I've only worn them under a night shirt, but they're super comfortable and they dont ride up at all. Very nice, but if your thighs are a little thick, you probably won't like them.
