Not for the faint-hearted, these plates allow a much greater load to be applied to your barbell due to the slim design. Four years in the making we are finally happy with them. The centre hole is 50mm, eliminating the loose fit bumpers can have. Our Elite bumper plates are dead blow/low bounce plates - this is a safety feature but also a convenience factor. No chasing weights all over the gym or platform.

Maintenance: Industrial Athletic Podium bumper plates are a multi-component engineered product. Bolts will require tightening on a regular basis to avoid separation. Please also ensure a thread lock compound is used for optimum strength. Bumper plates and subsequently the bolts are subjected to massive force. This is a standard engineered product maintenance procedure

Important: All of our Bumper plates are coated with a silicon oil prior to packaging, to protect the plates in transit. This can be simply removed with a rag, and surface cleaner. We recommend a natural product such as "Simple Green", or simply use diluted laundry or dish-wash detergent.
