| What is Gembone? It is a mineralized dinosaur bone, which occurs when minerals from groundwater are deposited within the bones. It is one of five gemstones created from organisms (the others being pearl, ammolite, amber and jet). |
Ammonite Fossils
| Ammonite fossils are 66-450 million years old, they were a shelled cephalopod. Most died out at the end of the Cretaceous Period when an asteroid collided with Earth. Ammonites come in all sizes, as tiny as a pinky nail and larger than a human. Ammonite fossils are formed when the remains or traces of the animal became buried in sediment which later solidified into rock. The name "ammonite" comes from their coil-shaped shells, which resemble the horns of the Egyptian god Ammon. These fossils, now rocks, all look incredibly different based on the contents of the sediment and minerals around them. Each one feels like a unique work of art on its own. |

Not a strong toy for chewers.
Color: Yellow
Not quite as strong as its description. My dog chewed off its foot within the first 10 minutes . I expected it to be stronger because it’s made of Kevlar material but it’s not that durable. Save your money it is far from being durable / indestructible.

Keeps my dog busy and actually holds up
This jigsaw-style dog toy has been a game changer for keeping my dog entertained. The design is super versatile—you can spread peanut butter (or yogurt, wet food, etc.) into the grooves, and it keeps them busy licking for a long time.
What I like most is that it’s not just a lick mat—it’s also a durable chew toy. The material feels strong and holds up really well, even with a dog that usually destroys toys pretty quickly. Toys made from rubber or similar materials tend to last longer and are safer for chewing compared to softer options.
The grooves and compartments make it a little more challenging (in a good way), so it takes my dog longer to get through the treats. I’ve even tried freezing peanut butter inside, and that keeps them occupied even longer. Lick-style toys like this are great for slowing dogs down and keeping them calm and engaged.
It’s also been really helpful during times when I need a distraction—like when I’m busy, cleaning, or even during grooming.
