About the Author and Translator

The Author

Khentrul Rinpoche Jamphel Lodrö is the founder and spiritual director of Dzokden. Rinpoche spent the first 20 years of his life yak herding and chanting mantras in the highlands of Tibet. Encouraged by the bodhisattvas, he left his family to study in various monasteries under the guidance of more than twenty-five masters from all the Tibetan Buddhist traditions. His non-sectarian approach earned him the title of Rime (Unbiased) Master, and he was identified as the reincarnation of the famous Chakra Master Ngawang Chozhin Gyaco. While at the core of his teachings is the realization that the diversity of all spiritual traditions in the world is of great importance; he himself focuses on the Jsonang-Shambhala tradition. His teachings of Chakra (the Wheel of Time) contain profound methods for harmonizing our external environment with the inner world of the body and mind, and ultimately for achieving a golden age of peace and harmony (Dzokden).

The Translator

Michael R. Sheehy is a Ph.D. Candidate in Buddhist Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco, CA. His doctoral dissertation research concentrates on the zhentong philosophical view formulated within modern Jonang Tibetan literature. He is the author of several articles on Tibetan Buddhism, and is the President of Jonang Foundation.

Beautiful Quality Purse - Highly Recommend
So happy with this purchase and love the bag! It was packaged well and like a high priced item, in paper wrap and plastic & a box. It arrived in perfect condition. I was very surprised at the quality. The reviews were mixed but mostly good and I decided to give it a try. It is a beautiful dark navy, elegant & well made. I was proud to carry this at my nephews wedding. It has a chain option, which I didn't use this time, and has lots of room for many items without being overly large. I have one of the largest cell phones with a case and it fit perfectly. I actually didn't have enough items to fill the bag, LOL. My husband asked me to carry his things and still had plenty of room. It was perfect and I received compliments on it. After the wedding I wrapped the purse back up it it's original package and stored it away for my next event. Highly recommend this product and will purchase again for sure!

Cute, servicable purse
Color: 1-rhinestone Black
Very cute little bag that I used for a black tie wedding. The size was big enough to carry a few needed items without being too small. For me, it was perfectly coordinated with my floor length black dress with rhinestone neckline. I actually got compliments on my dress and bag.

Pretty lil purse
Color: 1-rhinestone Camel, Color: 1-rhinestone Camel
Purse is pretty. I will be wearing for wedding. The only thing I noticed that was off was how sticky the diamond studded area was when I opened the package. It felt like the adhesive used to attach the diamond studded area was a cheap adhesive. It's not a crazy sticky feel its just very light in some areas. Im still gonna use it. It's wearable. Not concerning. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star.
