It is my hope that my experiences -- from initially being diagnosed through the prolonged treatment process (including stem-cell and bone-marrow transplants) and recovery -- may be of help in some way to others, while not being a prescriptive or how-to approach. Rather, they represent my personal steps along that path, including those necessarily recommended and supervised by healthcare workers. Yet, it is possible that others may identify with those feelings, struggles and triumphs and in that way, I hope it may be of use, whether you are being treated or know of a loved one who is, or perhaps with some other, similar life challenge.
A percentage of the proceeds of the sale of each book will be donated to different charitable foundations.
