Cascara is very valuable for hemorrhoids due to poor bowel function. It helps to promote painless evacuations and, after extended usage, the bowels will function naturally and regularly from its tonic effects. It is cleansing to the colon and helps rebuild its functions. Cascara has often been recommended as part of cleansing and detoxifying programs and in small doses it may be an effective liver tonic.

Non-medicinal ingredients
Vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], purified water, silica), microcrystalline cellulose.
Please Note: In general, stimulant laxatives should be avoided in children less than six years of age unless directed by a health care practitioner. Suitable for children older than 6 years of age at one-half of the adult dosage.
Seniors: Seniors commonly experience constipation and are most susceptible to becoming dependent on laxatives. Seniors are most likely to experience the more serious side effects of long-term use because of potassium-depleting effects of cascara and other stimulant laxatives. Bulk-forming laxatives are usually preferred for seniors.
