The terroir for these vines is a knoll of gravelly soil planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and to a lesser extent with Petit Verdot and Malbec. Experts are unanimous that Cabernet Sauvignon is in its element in this terroir.
TASTING NOTES
Beautifully coloured with deep purple tints, this wine offers all the richness and elegance typical of this prestigious appellation.
Grown in the very best terroirs and vinified with the same meticulous care as the grands crus, it offers up a bouquet suggestive of
pepper and liquorice along with fresh red fruit aromas. The silky, aromatic attack is followed by an elegantly structured mid-palate
that goes hand in hand with moderate extract and notes of pure cassis. The distinguished finish is typical of this exceptional terroir.
AGEING
Can be enjoyed while young (2-3 years after vintage) but has cellaring potential for quite a few years more.
