About the Author

Melody Crosby Hale is passionate about her love for God, and she wants to help others find God’s love and be able to overcome hardships and strongholds in life… and thrive. She is a true inspiration.

Melody helps to lead a support group, Getting and Staying Sober with Codependency, at her local church. She also participates in a jail ministry group at the local jail.

Melody continues to steward her cleaning business that was the catalyst to embarking on this book-writing journey with Rick and Laura. Melody’s mission through her business is “making a difference in homes and hearts”, and she and her staff are very successful in fulfilling this mission.

Most important to Melody, after following her love for God, is her family. Melody and her husband live in Louisiana and have continued to build their strong relationship as they both grow in their individual relationships with Christ. They have a beautiful daughter and son in law who have blessed the family with two grandchildren. Melody loves being MeMe to these wonderful grand babies!

The color is a rich beautiful Brown, i mean it even LOOKS soft--it's just awesome. It is a perfect weight, not too heavy or too light,, Cozy as a MoFo! Just buy it, get it, live happily ever after with it--you won't regret it. *****UPDATE***** 12/22/25 - I've had this Blanket for almost a year..It's just as soft & beautiful as the day I got it! It has NEVER shed so I don't understand reviews stating it does? When washing these Blankets DO NOT USE WARMTH OF ANY KIND! Washer OR Drier!! The fabric is very delicate so heat will ruin it--even the slightest. Wash on COLD only, and only use AIR drier settings (fluff), NO HEAT FOLKS! It takes about 4 or 5 times to Dry on air only but it is worth the extra time when it comes out perfect. One more thing, NEVER- EVER- EVERRR USE FABRIC SOFTNER. It is wax which will coat all those Beautifully soft fibers and ruin them for good. If you follow these pretty easy suggestions your blankets will stay as awesome as the day you got 'em. I hope this helps. OH.. & GET THE BLANKET!!!!

We couldn’t tell if he preferred the floor—or the blanket. So I tried something: I put the throw on his bed. And just like that… he started sleeping in his bed. Apparently, this blanket is the key to sleep training. If you’re looking for something soft, durable, and genuinely cozy, this is already a great buy. But if you happen to have a toddler resisting bedtime… this might just be your secret weapon too.
