The Olympus PEN E-PL8 is a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera designed with a compact form factor and solid imaging capabilities. It features a 16.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor paired with the TruePic VII image processor, enabling RAW capture and continuous shooting at up to 8.5 frames per second. ISO range extends from 200 to 25,600, supporting low-light performance suitable for most general shooting scenarios.
Autofocus is handled by a contrast-detection system with 81 selectable areas, and focus modes include single, continuous, tracking, and face/eye detection. The camera offers in-body 3-axis image stabilization, which compensates for shake across pitch, yaw, and roll during stills or video capture.
The rear display is a 3.0-inch LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1.04 million dots. It features a flip-down tilt design (180° downwards), optimized for self-portraits and vlog-style shooting. Video recording is available in Full HD (1080p) at up to 30 fps with stereo audio recording.
Connectivity options include built-in Wi-Fi for remote control and wireless file transfer via the Olympus Image Share app. The body incorporates a hot shoe for external flash units and accessories, along with a standard accessory port compatible with select Olympus add-ons.
The E-PL8 uses the Micro Four Thirds lens mount, ensuring compatibility with a broad range of Olympus and Panasonic lenses. Battery life is rated at approximately 350 shots per charge (CIPA standard), using the BLS-50 battery. Storage is via SD/SDHC/SDXC cards, with full support for UHS-I speeds.

Inexpensive part and YouTube knowledge lead to quick fix

Solenoid went out on boat. After viewing multiple videos on YouTube I figured that my solenoid was bad. Ordered this and received a day later. Replaced the other one and this worked perfectly.

Worked perfectly!

Have an older Mercury 40hp 2 stroke. This Solenoid worked perfectly. It is not that easy to install, due to the design of the engine. It does require a bit of patient and the right tools to do it. If you have big hands and don't do this type of repair to often, call a friend that is better than you to get some help :)
I have an older engine but it runs like charm. I will order an extra Solenoid and place in the box of "important spare parts" for the future.
Very good experience for the purchase and overall quality of the part.

It works as it should...
Size: 96158T-2PCS
Used it in a pinch for stater relay... it works great. Be aware... Mine required metric sockets for the nuts... 10mm for large terminals - 3/8 was too tight and same for smaller terminals 7mm fit better than 5/16 that was too loose. The mounting holes are also spaced closer together than the OEM on a mercruiser 260 in a mid 1980's boat but easy to remedy with a 1/4" drill bit.
