آج میں آپ کو سیر کروانے جا رھا ہوں 1909 کے لاہور شہر کی جب اس کی آبادی صرف ڈیرھ لاکھ تھی۔ یہ نادر کتاب در اصل لاہور گائیڈ کے نام سے شائع ہوئی تھی جو دسمبر 1909 میں لاہور میں ہونے والی تاریخی صنعتی نمائش کے موقع پر آنے والے مہمانوں کی رہنمائی کیلئے شائع کی گئی تھی۔ یہ وہ مشہور نمائش ہے جس میں ہندوستان میں پہلی بار ہوائی جہاز کی نمائش کی گئی تھی۔۔
کتاب میں آپکو لاہور شہر کی مختصر تاریخ پڑھنے کو ملتی ہے۔ کچھ نقشے دیکھنے کو ملتے ہیں۔ لاہور آنے والی اور یہاں سے جانے والی ریل گاڑیوں کی ٹائمنگ کا شیڈول بھی ملتا ہے۔
آپکو لاہور شہر کی تاریخی عمارتوں کا احوال بھی ملتا ہے اور جدید عمارات کے حوالے سے بھی فہرست ملتی ہے۔۔ بہت سی تاریخی اور کچھ جدید عمارتوں کے آج آپکو نشان بھی نہیں ملتے۔
شہر کے باغوں سیر گاہوں کا احوال بھی ملتا اور شہر کے کارخانوں دستکاریوں بارے بھی معلومات دی گئی ہے۔
چڑیا گھر بھی بنا ہے جہاں ہاتھی کے علاوہ ساری دنیا کے جانور ہیں۔ چند سال پہلے بننے والا ایک سٹیٹ آف آرٹ لارنس باغ بھی ہوتا تھا۔
ہوٹلوں کی بھی فہرست ملے گی۔ اور نیڈو ہوٹل جو ایک سال پہلے پوری لش بش کے ساتھ کھلا ہے اس بارے دلچسپ بات لکھی ہے کہ اس کے ارد گرد سبزہ ہی سبزہ ہے۔بجلی کی روشیاں اور پنکھے لگے ہوئے ہیں۔ ۔۔۔لائبریریوں اخباروں پرنٹنگ پریس بازاروں کے بارے بھی بتایا گیا ہے۔ آخر میں نمائش کے حوالے سے بھی تفصیلات فراہم کی گئی ہیں۔۔۔۔۔

Don’t buy for restaurant industry

Good looking shoes, fairly comfortable and good value based on the description shared, so I don’t feel it’s fair to rate them lower than 4 stars. I had high hopes for them based on previous reviews from others saying they wore them in the food and beverage industry that mentioned their quality and durability, however I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you do. I purchased these to wear working in a full service upscale restaurant and in less than two months have managed to have torn the material on the middle exterior section and the bottoms of the shoes are already completely worn down. Good design, but the durability needs to be improved if they’re to hold up for that industry.

DO NOT BUY (lasted less than 7 months)

I bought these for work as a bartender in August of 2025. By December, the tops were scuffed, frayed, and peeling beyond repair, and by February, the soles were coming off. I’ve never had a pair of shoes with such low quality.

Most comfortable shoes, right out of the box!

Oh my! So, my ordering of shoes online has been hit or miss - 1/2 size too big or too small; too wide or not wide enough. Enter these Marc Joseph shoes… such a game changer. They fit like a glove, exceptionally comfortable, and easy to slip in and out of. I like them so much that I am shopping for another pair. So far, the size, quality, fit, feel, look, and comfort make this pair my dedicated first pick. Btw, I have been wearing them for six hours and they are still very comfortable! I highly recommend these shoes.
