Innovative Percussion's Concert Gong Mallets are similar in design to their bass drum mallets. However, a brass ring and solid rubber cores are used to give the added weight needed to get your big sonic metal going with minimal effort.
The long-lasting synthetic felt covers of the CG1 and CG2 allow you to get a complete tone spectrum with a little more attack.
The Innovative Gong Mallet is NOT yarn wrapped. It has a soft felt head covering its strong weighty inside, so the felt cushions your gong from any damage. However, the weight is enough that you can get great depth of sound from your Chinese gongs as well!
