Some readers in the Marches may have never heard of the Special Operations Executive. It was a top-secret subversive organisation set up in July 1940 with the aim of Ôsetting Europe ablaze by sabotageÕ. Its officers were engaged in intelligence gathering, paramilitary warfare, clandestine warfare, weapons, explosives, sabotage, propaganda, forgery and camouflage.
It also employed thousands of men and women from all walks of life and of many nationalities, trained them in the art of ungentlemanly warfare and infiltrated them behind enemy lines by plane, boat and submarine. It supported resistance organisations by supplying them with arms and equipment.
Bernard OÕConnorÕs ÔSOE in the MarchesÕ uses contemporary documents, histories and websites to investigate the wartime experiences of fifteen people who either lived or worked in Shropshire and Herefordshire and were employed or connected with the SOE. They are Stanley Alfred Buckmaster, Alexander Lindsay Binney, Harry RŽe, Harold Hardy Jackson, Penelope Torre Tore, George ÔValÕ Myer, Victor Albert Gough, Thomas Cecil Pearson, Charles Thomas Milnes-Gaskell, George Robert Paterson, John Maurice Cotterill, Oswald Arthur Brown, Maurice Henry Cardiff, Violette Szabo and Rita Campbell,.
The book also details Ôshadow factoryÕ Peaton Hall Farm, Diddlebury, Shropshire, which supplied parts for the Stirling bomber, one of the planes used to carry SOEÕs secret agents into occupied Western Europe, and nearby Sutton Court, a property reported to have had links.

Great little blender very high power
Color: Black
Wow this charger has get up and go, I was actually quite shocked at how long the charge lasts It's very reliable I love that it has the lid for storage and I use this for pretty much two things One is whipped cream and the other is delgona coffee, that coffee whips up so thick and creamy and if I'm not careful when I use this to make whipped cream I end up with butter so very high power and easy to clean just make sure to clean it right away it's also very easy to use

Powerful and good battery life
Color: Black
I’ve been really happy with this rechargeable milk frother. It works great for making cappuccinos, lattes, and even matcha and hot chocolate. The dual spring whisk creates a nice, creamy foam very quickly, much better than I expected for such a compact device. I also like that it’s rechargeable, so I don’t have to constantly buy or replace batteries. The battery life is solid and it holds a charge well. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and doesn’t take up much space in the kitchen, which makes it perfect for daily use.

I love it because it doesn’t use batteries — you just recharge it and that’s it. Plus, it’s very powerful and works really well. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to be this good. Great option and excellent value for the price.

Good product
Color: Black
Good product I like that it’s rechargeable. The only thing I don’t like is that there’s no power button. You have to press it while in use.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for My Morning Coffee! I absolutely love this milk frother! It’s simple to use, works quickly, and creates a rich, creamy foam that makes my coffee feel like it came from a coffee shop. I was surprised by how well it froths both warm and cold milk in just a few seconds. The frother is lightweight, comfortable to hold, and easy to clean after use. It’s become a part of my daily coffee routine, and I find myself using it every morning. If you're looking for an affordable way to elevate your coffee experience at home, this is definitely worth it. Highly recommended🌟⭐️
