"Malawi Flag consists of three horizontal stripes that divide the flag into three equal parts. In the center of the black strip, which is listed as black, red and green from top to bottom, there is a sun with 31 new rays of the red horizon in the middle of the black strip.
The sun symbolizes the hope for a free and united Africa. While the black color of the horizontal stripes represents the black people of the African continent, the red color symbolizes the martyrs and bloodshed for the independence of the country, and the green color symbolizes the fertile forests of the country."
