"Rent-a-Racer"Rent a Racer is a look at the famous Shelby Hertz Rental GT350H's from 1966. A friend owned an original black with gold stripes Hertz, and I took photos of his car for the painting. A little research gave me a copy of an original magazine ad for the Hertz Mustang program, and I took some artistic license to re design the ad and place it on a brick wall. These cars were often rented by enthusiasts for a weekend, taken to a local drag strip for racing,
