Bureau B present a reissue of Conrad Schnitzler's Conditions of the Gas Giant, originally released on cassette in 1988. The Berlin artist first released these recordings on a small American cassette label. Admirers of the seminal artist Conrad Schnitzler can be found all over the planet, including the USA, of course. Matt Howarth, illustrator and independent comic artist, is one of them. He has been following Schnitzler's music since the early 1970s whilst drawing offbeat science fiction stories. One day Howarth came up with the idea of making Schnitzler a member of a notorious band - The Bulldaggers - who featured in one of his comic series. Not wanting to go ahead without permission, he got in touch with Schnitzler who readily embraced the idea. In fact, he posted a pile of photos by return so that the graphic artist could draw him properly. The Bulldaggers popped up repeatedly in the comics and Schnitzler was (repeatedly) delighted. A friendship soon developed between him and Howarth. In 1986, Howarth designed his first cover for a Schnitzler album (Concert) and the following year Schnitzler entrusted him with tapes which Howarth was able to bring to the notice of the small American label Bird O' Pray. Considering the label's predominantly punk and early garage leanings, Howarth and Schnitzler were as surprised as each other to see the album successfully released on cassette. Howarth and Schnitzler came up with the album title together. Conditions of the Gas Giant reflected the atmosphere they associated with the music, clouds of manifold colors, whirling nervously above a gaseous planet. A methane and helium tryst in sonic form - fireworks, pyrotechnics for the eyes, like the surface of Jupiter, just as Schnitzler's tracks are pyrotechnics for the ears. This is the image conveyed by Matt Howarth in the liner notes for the reissue - naturally designed by himself - based on the aborted 1990s CD release. He also called on his friend D.H. Kister for further assistance, the man who first introduced him to Schnitzler's music almost fifty years ago. First CD and vinyl release.

Beautiful and comfortable wrist rest

This walnut wrist rest is fantastic. It’s a solid, well-crafted piece of wood with a great natural feel. The edges are nicely filed and smooth to the touch, and the wood grain looks beautiful in person. You can really feel the texture of the wood when typing, but it’s never rough or uncomfortable—just a nice tactile reminder of the quality material.
The color and finish are great, not glossy or sticky, and it stays cool and comfortable even during long sessions. It fits perfectly with my full-size keyboard and adds both comfort and a great aesthetic to my desk setup.
If you’re looking for a wrist rest that’s both functional and classy, this is absolutely worth the price. Highly recommend.

Real walnut wood. High quality.

This is authentic walnut wood. I was apprehensive at first. My fear was that it was pine stained to the color of walnut. I thought the wood stain would come off on my wrists and wear over time.
Turns out this is a genuine chunk of walnut! Worth the $20. I laser engraved my logo onto it and it revealed that it’s 100% walnut to the core.
Elegant solution. Perfectly comfortable. Way less corny than those squishy wrist rests from the 2000’s. Nice rubber gaskets on the bottom to keep it from slipping. Does not move while in typing.
The exact right size for supporting your wrist on a full size Keychron keyboard. I’m using it with a P6 Ultra. But it would fit any full size Keychron keyboard.

Surprisingly comfortable and stylish wrist rest!

I was hesitant about buying a wood product like this, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised how comfortable and smooth it is during extended use. For the price, it feels like a premium product, and I love that it stays put with the rubber feet. The size is perfect for a full-size keyboard, with just the right thickness to keep your wrist and palms comfortable. Great wrist rest with a modern look!

This is a great looking addition to my desk. It’s a just the right length to fit my keyboard and I love the walnut coloring! It’s real wood and has nice rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from moving around. The angle is nice for my wrists and it’s easy to clean with just a damp cloth. If I ever wear this one out (which I doubt) I’d buy another!

Super comfortable - much better than memory foam wrist rests!

Get this wrist rest - you won't be disappointed. Had ergonomic keyboards and have tried memory foam rest in the past and this is much better. Smooth wood, perfect height and very supportive to keep wrists in neutral position when typing. Got the 17.3" and like that there's ample room to not feel squashed, but probably could have done with the medium length. Great angle for my mechanical keyboard. Love it!
