“Emotional excitement reaches men through
tea, tobacco, opium, whisky, and religion” - George Bernard Shaw

Vi Et Armis is an explosively spiced ‘oriental’ Eau De Parfum inspired by Great Britain’s dominance of international sea trade across the centuries. Its key notes allude to the cargoes carried across oceans in the holds of British ships: exotic,
occasionally illicit, rich wares contained in dark chests, traded between points on the map.

Tea meets sticky opium at the forefront of the composition, vying for dominance. Smouldering woods and tarry planks form the base with rich oud and incense complementing the smoked spice and alcoholic notes. Again, using heavily ‘overdosed’ concentrations of key ingredients we aim to produce an intense challenging and provocative fragrance.

Perfumer Julie Marlowe was tasked with creating a perfume almost as a collision of cultures - to produce a fragrance which is as complex, contradictory and dark as the chapters of our history.

Top Notes: Cardamom, Black Pepper, Black Tea, Whiskey, Grapefruit and Frankicense.

Middle Notes: Tea, Opium, Flower Note, Red Fruits and Ylang Ylang.

Base Notes: Tobacco, Birch, Oud, Amber, Cistus Labdanum, Caramel, Sandalwood, Patchouli and Atlas Cedar.

50ml

Very good soap . Works great on dry skin
Our family favorite bath soaps. Very gentle on the skin , especially for one of my kids who suffer from dry skin and eczema . Even though is fragrance free it has a nice scent to it . I highly recommend it.

Lighter shea butter lotion frugal makes skin dewy
i purchased this a month ago here is what i found it is a lighter lotion it's not as light as cerave daily as it has shea butter but if you like lotions that soften i would recommend this one it does work magic on the skin and is frugal pump works well it does is good for my very sensitive skin bottle size is good it it's over all great value it seems watery but does absorb not in rapid speed but any you would think with shea, shea does soften skin but it doesn't go in too deep into the layers by default so think of that but over all i would say it's a great all year round skin softening protectant

Colloidal is good
I used this non greasy oil on my scalp and it is good for dry scalp, but i didn't like it on my pillow case. It's fragrance free until sleeping with it on my scalp

no substitute for Aveeno
Pros: There's no smell (yay--I don't get why folks say it smells like oatmeal; it doesn't, it just smells like it doesn't have perfume added), and it spreads well. BUT: it's too thin and doesn't last well enough. Had my first eczema flair in years while using this. I'm going back to Aveeno fragrance-free. At least I tried.

its ok
its ok, has a lot of chemicals in it, but not 2% of colloidal oatmeal which is recommended for an eczema lotion. i like this brand because its cruelty free but this is not great for eczema. i actually like that it is not thick, but it doesnt calm my dry itchy skin very much.
