Kaplan takes readers on a soulful journey through the rollercoaster challenges and successes of Heschel's emotional life. As a child he was enveloped in a Hasidic community of Warsaw, then he went on to explore secular Jewish Vilna and cosmopolitan Berlin. He improvised solutions to procure his doctorate in Nazi-dominated Berlin, escaped the Nazis, and secured a rare visa to the United States. He articulated strikingly original interpretations of Jewish ideas. His relationships spanned not only the Jewish denominational spectrum but also Catholic and Protestant faith communities. A militant voice for nonviolent social action, he marched with Martin Luther King Jr. (who became a close friend), expressed strong opposition to the Vietnam War (while the FBI compiled a file on him), and helped reverse long-standing antisemitic Catholic Church doctrine on Jews (participating in a secret meeting with Pope Paul VI during Vatican II). From such prodigiously documented stories Heschel himself emerges--mind, heart, and soul. Works great, could use a better sprayer

I gave it 4 stars ONLY because I've had the nozzle break on at least 1 of these. So they could improve the way it sprays, but overall I'm very happy with the product. It keeps my whole family from getting burned and goes on clear. I love this because my kids always complain that they don't like the whitecast, so this one is a keeper!

DOESNT SPRAY do not buy

Doesn’t work AT ALL. And I’m annoyed because it’s not eligible for return even with prime. What am I supposed to do with a sunscreen that won’t spray? YES, it’s in thru blocked position, it will not spray. I’d love my money back please.

Reliable protection that stays put during workouts!

I’ve tried many expensive name-brand sunscreens, but this Amazon Basics version performs just as well, if not better. It’s become my go-to for morning runs and trips to the beach because it actually stays on even when I’m sweating.
Why I gave it 5 stars:
Non-Greasy Formula: Unlike other sport sunscreens, this one absorbs quickly and doesn't leave that heavy, sticky film on my skin.
Actually Water Resistant: I’ve used it for laps in the pool and long hikes; as long as I reapply as directed, I haven't had a single sunburn.
No "Sting": One of the best things is that it doesn't run into my eyes and sting when I start to sweat—a huge plus for runners.
Great Value: You get a generous 8-ounce bottle for a fraction of the price of "premium" brands. The fact that it’s formulated without Oxybenzone is an added bonus for peace of mind.
If you’re looking for effective, no-frills sun protection for an active lifestyle, you can't beat this. It’s a staple in my gym bag now!
