Palma es una butaca que celebra la honestidad constructiva y la belleza de lo esencial.

Su arquitectura se define por una estructura tubular metálica sobre la que descansan las superficies curvas del asiento y el respaldo, realizadas en lamas de contrachapado, dejando visible la “desnudez” del diseño.

Los reposabrazos generosos en fresno macizo aportan un contrapunto cálido y orgánico, equilibrando la contundencia estructural con una sensación más amable y doméstica. Para elevar el confort, Palma ofrece un cojín opcional que se integra de forma discreta entre las lamas, sin ocultar el carácter abierto y ligero de la pieza.

El nombre Palma es un homenaje de Marc Morro a su ciudad natal, Palma de Mallorca, un gesto íntimo sobre las raíces y la humildad de un objeto pensado para viajar lejos sin perder su origen. Sancal recupera este diseño del archivo personal del diseñador y lo evoluciona hacia un confort pensado para ser vivido, manteniendo el espíritu crudo de la pieza original, pero suavizándolo con un lenguaje más cercano. Tanto la madera como el metal pueden personalizarse en todos los colores de la carta de Sancal, una libertad cromática que amplifica su expresividad y permite interpretaciones sobrias o más frescas y contemporáneas.

I really love Nedra Glover Tawwab's work. I started with "Set Boundaries, Find Peace" and that opened the gateway to a broader and more helpful healing journey for me. This book, "Drama Fee" was just an evolutionary step in her series and a more in depth dealing with family relationships. The different perspectives for each chapter on how the concept can be applied was/is helpful as it often feels like books of this nature are only telling the black or white way to focus on a relationship.
