The Exo Terra Turtle Filter FX-200 offers an effective odor-reducing filtration system designed for turtle aquariums, paludariums, or aquatic terrariums. It includes a spray bar system that enhances aeration and comes with all essential filtration media. With its dual chamber design, this filter provides maximum flexibility for servicing mechanical, chemical, and adsorptive filtration media. The flow rates are meticulously calculated to achieve the perfect balance between mechanical filtration, water circulation, and oxygen enrichment, ensuring optimal conditions for maintaining turtles.
Maintenance is easy, requiring intervals of every 1-2 months for turtle tanks and every 2-4 months for other aquatic environments.
It comes with a comprehensive set of filtration media including 1 fine foam, 2 coarse foam, 1 odor-reducing pad, and dual carbon pads. The combination of the odor-reducing pad and the dual carbon pads maximizes ammonia absorption, making it ideal for turtle tanks, paludariums, or aquatic terrariums with a high biological load.
