Polyaniline is a conductive polymer material, and its basic structural unit is polymerized from aniline monomers. The polyaniline molecular chains in the polyaniline rod exhibit a certain ordered arrangement.

The molecular structure of polyaniline contains benzene rings and nitrogen atoms, and its repeating unit structure can be represented as an alternating form of oxidation and reduction states of aniline. In polyaniline rods, this molecular structure has a certain degree of orientation along the axis of the rod.

Polyaniline rods have a distinct rod-shaped shape, and their diameter and length can be controlled by preparation methods and conditions. Generally speaking, the diameter of polyaniline rods is usually in the nanometer to micrometer range, and their length can also vary from several hundred nanometers to several micrometers.

This rod-shaped morphology gives it a higher aspect ratio and may have unique advantages in certain applications compared to other forms of polyaniline, such as granules. For example, when constructing nanodevices, their rod-shaped structure is more conducive to directional arrangement and assembly. This product forms a rod-shaped structure through the interaction and self-assembly process of polyaniline molecules themselves. Under appropriate solvent systems and reaction conditions, polyaniline molecules will spontaneously aggregate and arrange into rod-shaped structures.

In a certain acidic solution, aniline monomers polymerize under the action of oxidants, and by adjusting the concentration, pH value, temperature and other parameters of the solution, polyaniline molecules self assemble into rod-shaped structures. The polyaniline rod prepared by this method has good structural regularity, but requires strict control of reaction conditions.
