Koshi Chimes have four melodic tunings inspired by the four alchemical elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water (Terra, Aria, Ignis, Aqua). Earth (Terra) represents practicality, harmony, the senses. It has a cool and dry energy. Water (Aqua) represents deep feeling, emotions, and intuition. It has a cool and fluid energy. Air (Aria) represents thoughts, communication, and perception. It has a warm and fluid energy. Fire (Ignis) represents action, energy, and passion. It has a warm and dry energy. When singing together, the Full Set of Four Chimes builds cascading resonance and warm tones, pure elemental balance and bliss.

Koshi Chimes are made from a bamboo resonating tube with eight metal tines on the inside, attached to a small metal base. They were developed by Kabir, inventor of the Shanti Chime. These chimes are perfect for sound baths and sound healers working with gongs, singing bowls, crystal bowls and more.
