Almost clear golden with a frothy white head and lovely lacing. Intense hit of citrus, apricot and and other fruits followed by berries, funk and vinegary notes. Medium sourness, hints of bitterness in the aftertaste. Wonderful dry palate, high carbonation. Amazing!

Unblended lambic is the purest form of lambic. This rare specialty is typically only found in the lambicmakers’ home region, although some bottled examples – such as Cantillon 1900 Bruocsella Grand Cru – are produced. Unblended lambics will vary in character from barrel to barrel, can be found in a variety of ages, and may have been aged with fruit in the cask. They tend to be still, with flavours whose edge has not been taken off by blending.
