  • Access the lamp housing: Locate and remove the lamp cover or service door according to your projector’s manual. Some units require removing a few screws or releasing latches to access the lamp module.
  • Remove the old lamp: Loosen the lamp screws, gently pull the old lamp out by its handle, and disconnect any wiring harnesses as required. Handle with care to avoid damaging the lamp or interior components.
  • Install the new BTI lamp: Align the new lamp with the housing, connect any connectors, and secure it with the original screws. Ensure the lamp clicks into place and sits firmly without wobble; avoid touching the lamp glass with bare hands.
  • Reassemble and reset: Reattach the lamp cover, plug the projector back in, and power it on. Reset the lamp timer following your projector’s manual to track remaining lamp life accurately for maintenance reminders.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: Is the BTI Projector Lamp compatible with my projector?
A: This lamp is designed as a replacement for BTI projectors and for projectors that use UHP lamps. To confirm compatibility, check your projector’s model number and the lamp specification indicated in the manual or on the manufacturer’s website.

A: Lamp life varies with usage, brightness settings, and environmental conditions. Most UHP replacement lamps provide thousands of hours of operation under typical usage, with longer life when operated at moderate brightness and proper ventilation.
  • Q: Do I need special tools to install the lamp?
A: In most cases, basic tools and careful handling are sufficient. Always follow the projector’s installation steps, avoid touching the glass of the lamp, and use gloves if possible to keep oils from transferring to the lamp surface.
  • Q: How do I know when it’s time to replace the lamp?

Great Sequel to Long Halloween
Format: Paperback
This takes all of the great elements of the Long Halloween and keeps it going. The two of those books together is a great story telling. Ticks all the boxes of a great Batman book. If you like this and Long Halloween check out The Penguin show on HBO Max. and if you like The Penguin but haven't read these two books you should since the show pulls a lot of influence from them.

If Batman #666 is canon, then this collection is important.
I just read this Batman collection again and found a much greater appreciation for these stories than I did the first time around (not that they were all that bad to begin with). Of course, Grant Morrison's run on Batman has gone on another two years since Batman & Son, so reading this now allows you to put some added perspective on what's going on here. First of all, you have the introduction of Batman's son, Damien (this is not a spoiler, isn't it pretty obvious from the title?), who has since already gone on to a larger role in the DC Universe. I think some important take-aways from these initial issues of Grant Morrison's run are Damien's origins and his character/attitude. I believe that Damien's character is going to have a big impact on what happens with Batman (and Dick Grayson) in the near future. You also get a pretty unique Joker story, primarily told in text form. I really think Morrison shines in this kind of story-telling medium. Additionally, if you pay attention, there are definitely some clues in Batman & Son that foreshadow the next events in Morrison's saga. Lastly, there is issue #666. I don't want to give anything away about the story, but I have heard that Grant Morrison considers this to be part of the Batman canon (meaning that it is authentic to the whole Batman universe). If so, then in addition to the story, there are some particular frames that I think are going to be meaningful down the road For example, the one with Damien mourning over a Batman body and also the one from Damien's memory, showing three Bat-folk fighting crime together in the future. Overall, I have become very pleased with Grant Morrison's work on this title. Of the comics that I currently follow, he is surpassing them all in excellence, even beyond what Ed Brubaker is doing with Captain America. Once you read this collection, you will certainly want to go on to the next one.. Batman: The Black Glove.
