They are notorious for burying acorns for the winter and then finding them under the snow. However they don't find them all, and 20% of those acorns will grow into trees. Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand carved and then painted with non toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua.
