Buslink CipherShield P5-2000EN 2 TB External Hard Drive

The Buslink CipherShield P5-2000EN 2 TB External Hard Drive is a security-first, high-capacity storage solution crafted for professionals and power users who demand both robust data protection and flexible connectivity. Built around a desktop 3.5-inch drive enclosure, this device combines hardware-key encryption with a versatile penta interface, delivering secure, fast access to your files across a range of systems and environments. Whether you’re safeguarding sensitive business documents, protecting family photo libraries, or archiving large video projects, CipherShield provides an uncompromising layer of defense right at the storage level. The result is a portable, reliable storage companion that makes compliance, privacy, and data governance simpler—without sacrificing performance or convenience. With a generous 2 terabytes of capacity, you can store backups, multimedia collections, and critical work data in one secure, easy-to-access location.

  • Hardware-key encrypted security with CipherShield: This external drive leverages hardware-based encryption controlled by a dedicated security key. Data written to the disk is protected by an independent encryption engine that operates outside the host computer, ensuring that your information remains unreadable even if the drive is removed from its original system. The CipherShield approach minimizes the risk of keys leaking through software vulnerabilities and keeps security in place when moving between devices or networks. For professionals handling sensitive customer data, legal documents, or proprietary content, this built-in hardware encryption delivers peace of mind and helps meet internal security policies and industry compliance requirements.
  • Five-interface versatility for broad compatibility: The penta interface design accommodates the widest possible range of machines and ports. You’ll find USB 3.0 for modern, high-speed transfers, USB 2.0 for legacy rigs, and FireWire 400 and FireWire 800 for older workstations and media workflows that still rely on FireWire connectivity. Additionally, a fifth compatibility option extends the device’s reach across mixed environments, ensuring you can connect without constantly swapping cables or adapters. This versatility makes it ideal for IT departments, professionals in creative fields, and home users who operate across multiple hardware generations.
  • Generous 2 TB capacity for backups and media libraries: With 2 terabytes of storage, you can back up entire workstations, archive large video projects, maintain a comprehensive photo library, and keep critical documents readily accessible. The combination of ample space and hardware-level security means you can protect extensive digital assets in a single, portable device. The capacity is especially valuable for photographers, videographers, architects, and small businesses that generate large data volumes and require a secure, centralized repository for offline storage or disaster recovery planning.
  • Desktop-grade reliability in a rugged external enclosure: Designed as a 3.5-inch external hard drive, the P5-2000EN emphasizes durability and sustained performance in a desktop environment. The enclosure shields the drive from everyday wear while providing reliable power delivery through an external adapter. For users who rely on consistent, long-term storage, this design reduces vibration and thermal stress, helping to preserve drive health during extended backup sessions or routine archival tasks. The combination of robust build quality and hardware encryption makes it a dependable solution for offices, studios, and home workspaces alike.
  • Cross-platform usability with minimal setup: The CipherShield P5-2000EN is engineered for straightforward deployment across Windows, macOS, and compatible Linux workflows. In most cases, you can mount and access the drive without installing specialized software, while security-conscious users can opt into CipherShield’s management features to configure keys, access rules, and policy settings. This cross-platform compatibility makes it a versatile asset for teams collaborating across different operating systems or for individuals who alternate between work and personal machines, ensuring secure access to encrypted data wherever you are.

Great Sequel to Long Halloween
Format: Paperback
This takes all of the great elements of the Long Halloween and keeps it going. The two of those books together is a great story telling. Ticks all the boxes of a great Batman book. If you like this and Long Halloween check out The Penguin show on HBO Max. and if you like The Penguin but haven't read these two books you should since the show pulls a lot of influence from them.

If Batman #666 is canon, then this collection is important.
I just read this Batman collection again and found a much greater appreciation for these stories than I did the first time around (not that they were all that bad to begin with). Of course, Grant Morrison's run on Batman has gone on another two years since Batman & Son, so reading this now allows you to put some added perspective on what's going on here. First of all, you have the introduction of Batman's son, Damien (this is not a spoiler, isn't it pretty obvious from the title?), who has since already gone on to a larger role in the DC Universe. I think some important take-aways from these initial issues of Grant Morrison's run are Damien's origins and his character/attitude. I believe that Damien's character is going to have a big impact on what happens with Batman (and Dick Grayson) in the near future. You also get a pretty unique Joker story, primarily told in text form. I really think Morrison shines in this kind of story-telling medium. Additionally, if you pay attention, there are definitely some clues in Batman & Son that foreshadow the next events in Morrison's saga. Lastly, there is issue #666. I don't want to give anything away about the story, but I have heard that Grant Morrison considers this to be part of the Batman canon (meaning that it is authentic to the whole Batman universe). If so, then in addition to the story, there are some particular frames that I think are going to be meaningful down the road For example, the one with Damien mourning over a Batman body and also the one from Damien's memory, showing three Bat-folk fighting crime together in the future. Overall, I have become very pleased with Grant Morrison's work on this title. Of the comics that I currently follow, he is surpassing them all in excellence, even beyond what Ed Brubaker is doing with Captain America. Once you read this collection, you will certainly want to go on to the next one.. Batman: The Black Glove.
