When it comes time to replace the injectors in your Cummins, wouldn't it be nice if you could get everything you needed in one complete package? Of course it would, and that's why we've put together this complete package that will deliver you a set of Industrial Injection 60 horsepower injectors, injector connector tubes, connector tube removal tool, FASS Titanium Signature Series 100 GPH Lift Pump, GDP Fuel Filter Housing Eliminator Bracket, Industrial Injection Bag-of-Parts, and even a bottle of F-Bomb fuel additive. All you need to supply are a pair of hands and some basic hand tools to complete the job.

The original injectors found in the 2004.5-2007 Cummins are sometimes termed "505 injectors" which simply is relating to the Bosch part number of 0 986 435 505, as the last three numbers are what typically change throughout the various engine changes. These injectors in their original state were found to have a high failure rate that Bosch (and Dodge....and Cummins) deemed due to both poor fuel quality and inadequate filtration. But didn't your truck come with a fuel filter?! Overall, they did confirm that an update was necessary, thus a design change was put in place that are substantially more robust than the original units. But for those that never had updated injectors installed, or are simply looking for an increase in horsepower, a new set of 60 horsepower reman injectors from Industrial Injection will deliver not only the extra power you're looking for, but the longevity that will outlast your truck.

As we previously mentioned, though, when it does come time to install your new injectors, you'll need more components than JUST the injectors. First, you really need to replace the connector tubes, which essentially connect the injector inside of the head to the injector lines, external the head. These tube are also known to wear, like the injectors, both internally, as well as externally, where the tube seats into the side of the injector. Most leaks upon installation of new injectors are due to either improper installation of the connector tubes, or reusing the original ones. And guess what, Bosch made an update to the original connector tubes, as well. While the original style tubes are fine, the newer, stainless versions are less susceptible to abrasion and feature a larger inside diameter to aid in fuel flow. Because we always recommend replacing them with new injectors, they are included!

Next, in order to remove and install your connector tubes, you COULD use needle nose pliers like many end up doing. However, doing so can very easily cause damage to the threads. The fix? We include a connector tube tool that gets threaded onto the tube and features a knurled grip for simple threading of the tubes. It really doesn't get much easier than this.

Now, another failure point for Cummins of this generation were that of the fuel lift pump. Up until 2004.5 model years, the pump was mounted on the drivers side of the block where it was forced to "suck" fuel, as opposed to push fuel, which puts strain on the already undersized pump. Further, being located in the engine bay makes it exposed to high heat, which also causes premature failure. Dodge's fix for this issue came in 2005 model years where the pump was now located in the fuel tank and earlier model trucks were retrofitted to this design if they were diagnosed with a bad lift pump. While this in-tank version is better than the block mount, its still not adequate in terms of delivered fuel volume and still maintained the factory fuel filter canister. So what's the fix? Four simple letters: FASS. FASS stands for Fuel Air Separation System, which is a superior, lifetime guaranteed fuel pump that mounts to the frame rail, delivering a consistent 100 gallons per hour of fuel. Further, this particular model, the FASS Titanium Signature Series, filters fuel at 2 microns, removes water, and even eliminates entrained air in the fuel, which is also known to cause injector failure. Overall, a FASS Titanium is the "end all" for any injector impurities or fuel delivery shortcomings of the factory system.

Because the FASS system handles all of the filtration duties, it is designed to bypass the stock fuel filter canister. Since that system is now just taking up engine bay space, we include a Glacier Diesel Power Fuel Filter Housing Eliminator Bracket that takes the place of the canister. Besides simply bolting in place of the canister, it also features provisions for remounting the fuel return lines into it, to avoid these lines merely dangling as would happen otherwise.

You may have noticed this Ultimate Installation Kit also includes an Industrial Injection Bag-of-Parts and wondering what the heck a bag of parts actually is. Well, its a witty name for a handful of components designed and built by the fueling professionals at Industrial Injection that allow you to upgrade your own CP3 injection pump. These components are all accessible from the exterior of the pump and are replaceable with the pump left in place on the engine. Sure, its easier to make the upgrades with the pump off of the truck, but its definitely doable done in the engine bay. Overall, installing a Bag-of-Parts will aid in fuel delivery of your CP3 to match the fueling demands of your new, higher flowing injectors for a more balanced package.

Lastly, a bottle of F-Bomb Diesel Fuel Additive will ensure that everything is clean, water free, and with a boost of cetane for proper combustion.

My Most-Worn RayBans By Far
Color: Gold/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
These are what you buy when you look absolutely horrible in teardrop Aviators, which I do. I've even had commissioned salespeople tell me not to wear teardrop aviators, that's how bad they look on me. I purchased these in 2012 after owning a pair of Ray Ban New Wayfarers. I wanted something more stylish and more vintage looking. These are light, the earpieces practically disappear on your face, and the lens quality is outstanding. They've been dropped many times but so far, they're still gleaming like new. The nose pads can irritate my nose after long periods of wear, but they're still way more comfortable than my optical glasses. I wear these when I know I'm going to be in the sun for a long time because they don't give me big tan lines on the side of my face. I tried a 55mm, but ended up needing a 58mm to fit my big head. The lenses on the 58mm are a tad taller than I would like, but they provide excellent sun protection and they don't look bad on me at all. Ironically, I bought my dad a pair of 55mm American Optical sunglasses and they're almost exactly the same size and shape as the 58mm Caravans. They do provide more wrap than the American Optical. I've gotten a lot of compliments about these, maybe more than any other pair of sunglasses I've ever owned.

Perfect for Pilots
Color: Gold/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
I work in aviation and got these because they have a very top gun, fresh-esque look. The glass is solid, I’ve dropped them a few times and haven’t scratched them yet (from August - March). Fits perfectly under my headset and they can slide on and off pretty easily with the headset on. I can see the G1000 perfectly, without losing any of the panel as I did with my polarized glasses. Good shades - slightly too small for my face, hence the four stars.

Just perfect.
Color: Gold Havana/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
I saw this model of Ray Bans while watching Top Gun: Maverick. Actor John Hamm (Cyclone, in the movie) sported these during the beach scene. I looked for them here in Amazon and was lucky to find them for less than $100. They fit just great, and the lenses (G-15), give a clear and high definition picture. I definitely recommend them, perfect for driving, cycling, or your next F/A-18 mission.

Almost like they used to be...
Color: Gunmetal/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
These are the 3rd pair of Caravans I've owned over the years. The 1st pair were chrome frames and got mangled one time when I had set them on the trunk of the car to fill-up and drove away without them. Went back after only 100 yards or so, but by then they had been clipped by another car and were toast. Kept the lenses, sent the frame back to B&L (when they were still in Rochester -- and when customer service really WAS important to the company) and they sent back a brand-new pair of black-framed beauties -- FOR FREE! This pair recently experienced a broken frame - right at the junction of the lower curved piece that holds the lens frames together. (How this happened, I have no idea. I was wearing them. Put them in my shirt pocket. Took them out, put them on, and the lens was still in my pocket!) Now, Bausch & Lomb is owned by Luxottica (in Atlanta, GA.) Not entirely friendly, I would say, especially in the tone of the service rep's voice and bluntness. And I was told my only hope of getting any kind of satisfaction was to ship the broken pair to them and after examination they would decide whether it was a manufacturing defect or a customer caused one. Believe me -- there are NO damage marks on these black frames. The frame just cracked due to what? Fatigue, I guess. If judged in my favor they'd give me a substantial discount (40%, I believe) off list price on another pair that they might have in stock at the time. Egads! Talk about leaving you feeling helpless. NONE of the frames and lenses shown were to my liking, so I opted out of that choice and decided to search Amazon for a pair to my liking. So, this brings me to the new ones -- the subject at hand. The lenses on these are advertised as being 55mm wide, which they are. However, the original Caravans were 58mm wide = a small but perceptable difference, especially in field-of-view coverage AND how they look on your face. The G15 lenses seem to be the same tint, and the color (gun metal grey) is very nice. They fit well, and are what one would expect given the name RayBan. Therefore, I recommend them. [Footnote: As for my broken 58mm black-framed pair -- I looked up repair shops on the I-net, found 2 that seemed to talk a good game, picked one (in Cincinnati) and shipped them off today to have the frame laser welded. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they'll come back in usable shape (as promised) and I will again have my Old Faithfull's back. $35 to save a no-longer-made classic pair of RayBans is worth it in my book.]

Classic Design!! But the 55mm frame is too small..
Color: Gunmetal/G-15 Green, Lens Width: 55 Millimeters
Really solid frame and arrived rather fast (7 days before the expected date). It included the original packaging, booklets, cloth and case (the brown one) in the original box. Was surprised that it felt quite heavy, or at least more than what Im used to, although when I wear it I can't really feel the weight. The weight also adds to the feel of it making its structure feel a little more solid that lighter sunglasses. Unfortunately, the 55mm gunmetal + green G 15 lens which I ordered, is about 6 millimetres too small at the sides for me although the lens and front frame are the right size for me and it's actually still wearable. (it's just me). I would probably get the 58mm gold + green G15 later to see if there's a big difference (shouldn't be from the measurements given). That and the fact that these are a great pair of shades with a really classic design
