Since its publication in 1994, An Introduction to Biblical Hermeneutics has become a standard text for a generation of students, pastors, and serious lay readers. This second edition has been substantially updated and expanded, allowing the authors to fine-tune and enrich their discussions on fundamental interpretive topics. In addition, four new chapters have been included that address more recent controversial issues:• The role of biblical theology in interpretation• How to deal with contemporary questions not directly addressed in the Bible• The New Testament’s use of the Old Testament• The role of history in interpretationThe book retains the unique aspect of being written by two scholars who hold differing viewpoints on many issues, making for vibrant, thought-provoking dialogue. What they do agree on, however, is the authority of Scripture, the relevance of personal Bible study to life, and why these things matter.

[This book] has been a fun and illuminating read. As opposed to a dry textbook this work opens with engaging examples in Chapter 1 from Shakespeare's Othello and in Chapter 2 from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, illustrating how confusing language can be without even requiring translation. The text is broken into four parts including Searching for Meaning, Understanding the Text, Responding to the Text, and The Search for Meaning. While drawing the student in through great examples, the lessons challenge them to think in newer ways such as Hans-Georg Gadamer’s concept of "The meaning of a text always goes beyond its author;” and Paul Ricoeur’s idea that "A text is semantically independent of the intention of its author.” The result forces the student to consider the manner in which we read, understand and apply the text. Each chapter offers a strong conclusion sub section, followed by endnotes. The work also offers a glossary and annotated bibliography to accompany the endnotes from each chapter. The authors come together from different hermeneutical views and collaborate to create this single work unifying the approach. This second edition has been updated to answer questions regarding analysis of Scripture regarding subjects such as gender roles, worship styles and other contemporary issues. In the final part, author Silva, while historically a not a strong proponent of Calvinism, offers a chapter on Calvinistic Hermeneutics, focusing on the methods of interpretation which lead to that distinctive theology. The book establishes itself as a great read for both the “expert” and the lay person. C. Fugee

My honest review
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Having used the COOLA Organic Sunscreen SPF 70 Sunblock Spray, I wanted to share my thoughts on this product. Overall, I found it to be a good sunscreen option, although there were a couple of aspects that prevented me from giving it a full five stars. On the positive side, the organic formula is a definite plus for those who are conscious of what they put on their skin. The SPF 70 protection worked well, shielding me from sunburn even during extended outdoor activities. The spray application is convenient and mess-free, making it a great choice for on-the-go use. I also appreciate the eco-friendly approach of COOLA products, which aligns with my values. However, there were a couple of downsides I encountered. Firstly, the scent of the sunscreen is quite strong upon application. Although it does dissipate relatively quickly, it might be a concern for those sensitive to fragrances. Secondly, I noticed that the spray nozzle occasionally became clogged, leading to uneven coverage at times. While these issues didn't majorly impact my experience, they did play a role in my overall rating. If COOLA can address the scent intensity and nozzle clogging, it would significantly improve the product. In summary, the COOLA Organic Sunscreen SPF 70 Sunblock Spray offers effective sun protection with organic ingredients and a convenient spray format. However, the strong scent and occasional nozzle issues led me to rate it four stars. With a bit of refinement, this could easily become a top-tier sunscreen choice.

Works & Smells Great
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This product smells so nice and isn't sticky or tacky on the skin. I feel like it absorbed quite well. We used this in Vegas recently and I had a few soft red spots that went away a couple days later. Yes, we re-applied, but it is VERY bright in Vegas at the pool. This will probably become my go-to spray sunscreen. As my mobility can be limited, spray sunscreens have really helped me make sure I get all areas that are exposed to the sun.

Love this!
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I normally hate all sunscreen. I dont like lotion or anything on my skin cause I feel trapped. This is light and covers well. I am a softball coach so I am used to being out in the summer time with fair skin. I used as recommended and did not get burnt once. and the Peach Blossom smells great without being overpowering.

Works well, smells great, goes on easily
Sun protection factor: 15 Sun Protection Factor (SPF), Size: 6 Count (Pack of 2)
It smells good. It goes on easily with the spray bottle. It keeps me from burning while out biking. It's a good price. Overall, a very nice product that does what it should. We carry it in our bike packs and in the car when we know we'll be out in the sun all day. Doesn't feel heavy when sprayed on so it smooths over your skin very well. Keeps me from burning.
