Gold Vermeil is a plating and can wear over time. Gold vermeil is not fully water safe, but it can tolerate occasional brief contact with water. Regular exposure will shorten its lifespan. We recommend removing the piece when exposed to water and working out. This product is excluded from our 2 year warranty. We can re-plate this piece if needed for an additional cost.
