ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

The Son of Man is a brilliant exploration of the world that existed before the Gospel. A lucid, erudite, and deeply entertaining book that shows how history--when told with passion and precision--can become a revelatory experience of who we are.

With extraordinary clarity and dazzling scholarship, Juan Esteban Constaín reconstructs the setting in which the religion that would forever change the course of humanity emerged. Greece, Rome, and Second Temple Judaism come together here as rarely seen in contemporary nonfiction, engaging in dialogue with rigor and elegance, illuminated by humor and by the rare ability to turn centuries of history into a fast-paced and fascinating read.

From the legend of Romulus and Remus to the Empire of Augustus; from the Hellenistic expansion after Alexander to the conflict between the Maccabees and the Seleucids; from the clash between pagans and Jews to the singular figure of Jesus, this exceptional book guides the reader through kingdoms, wars, myths, manuscripts, and archaeological discoveries that explain why early Christianity was not an accident, but rather the natural--and astonishing--consequence of the encounter between peoples, languages, and beliefs.

Better then the competitors
Size: Medium Size
I bought these in both small and medium size. The small bag fits the Kitsch solid hair soap perfectly. They also fit a bar of Dove soap. Some types of soap, like Zest, are a tighter fit bit still work. If you want more of a washcloth style with extra suds, use the medium bag. The medium bag works well with those large bars of soap, like Duke Cannon Big Brick of soap. I hand these off little hooks in my shower so the bag dry faster and so I appreciate the loop they have on the corner. The folding top works way better then a drawstring. I also love the exfoliating texture. Overall, these are well worth the price.

Good exfoliating soap bag
Size: Small Size
Pretty good soap bag. Does take a while to get it to foam soap, maybe I'm doing it wrong? Great scrubbing.

Perfect for travel!
Size: Small Size
Love these and perfect for my bar soap. European hotels love their body wash refillable bottles but I like my soap! This keeps my bar soap clean and prevents me from dropping on the hotel shower floor. Also makes it nice for packing as it takes up less room than a soap dish. Last a long time! Use this all the time on monthly trips and is just like new. Good buy!
