Epic tales that still resonate

I dove into Dawson’s twin translation of The Iliad and The Odyssey hoping for clarity—and instead found myself struck by their emotional pull. Achilles’ fury, Hector’s honor, Odysseus’ longing for home—it all felt immediate and real. Dawson’s language flows so naturally, I forgot I was reading an ancient text.
