The PMO 46mm Performance Carburetor Kit is the gold standard for air-cooled Porsche 911 carburetor conversions. Made in Anaheim, California from CNC-machined billet aluminum with aerospace-grade tolerances, PMO carbs solve every shortcoming of the original Weber IDA — eliminating throttle shaft wear, air leaks, and tuning headaches that plague decades-old Webers. Now manufactured under the EMPI banner, with the same Richard Parr engineering and Anaheim production.

Kit Includes

  • Two PMO 46mm carburetors with 40mm chokes
  • 165 main jets, 180 air correction jets, 60 idle jets
  • F7t emulsion tubes, 0.5 float check valve
  • PMO throttle linkage
  • PMO fuel pressure regulator
  • Carburetor isolators
  • Complete hardware and fuel hose

Why PMO Over Weber IDA

  • One-piece stainless steel throttle shafts with ball-bearing support — no more shaft wear, air leaks, or binding
  • Full throttle body opening (Weber 46mm only enlarged the plate, not the bore) — significantly improved airflow
  • Float bowl sight glasses for tool-free fuel level tuning
  • Redesigned fuel inlet system for higher, more balanced flow
  • IDF-derived jet and float technology — modern, mature design
  • Heat-soak resistant construction

Fitment

  • 1965-1989 Porsche 911 with 3.2-3.4L engine (3.2 Carrera primary application)
  • 914-6 (with appropriate manifolds)
  • Compatible with stock manifolds OR PMO billet manifolds (sold separately)
  • Performance jetting — best suited for moderately built engines and lively street use

Made in Anaheim, California

PMO carbs are produced in PMO's California facility by EMPI. When founder Richard Parr retired, EMPI acquired PMO and invested in expanded machinery to keep the legacy alive. Same engineering. Same quality. American-made.

Note: Intake manifolds NOT included. Most installs use existing OE manifolds; PMO also offers CNC-machined billet replacement manifolds in 40/46/50mm sizes — ask us if you need them.

Installation: Final jetting may need adjustment for your specific engine setup. PMO publishes a Carb Setup Sheet — recommended to fill out before install. Professional tuning recommended for first-time PMO users.

Works
Size: 8.5"x11"
Works great for sublimation. Get plenty of sheets. Great value for the price. The paper is pretty thick and seems to hold a good amount of ink without smearing.

My go-to sublimation paper for crafting
Size: 8.5"x11"
I've used several sublimation papers, and this one has worked really well for my crafting projects. The colors transfer bright and vibrant, and the images come out crisp with good detail when using the proper sublimation printer and ink. The paper feeds smoothly through my printer and feels like a good quality weight—not too thin and not overly thick. I've used it for tumblers, keychains, and other sublimation projects, and I've been happy with the results. I also appreciate getting 110 sheets in one pack because it lasts a while, especially when working on multiple projects at once. Overall, this is a reliable sublimation paper that gives consistent results and is great for crafters or small business owners.

Great product, quality colors and vibrant prints
Color: 1BK/1C/1Y/1M
Best Sublimation Ink I have found so far. Great size bottles for the price you pay. Lasts a long time and the colors print great and when you press the print the colors come out BEAUTIFUL and VIBRANT! Dries quickly after printing so no worries on smudging but even after sitting over a month on the paper still presses like you printed it that day!

Consistent, Vibrant Results That Match My Designs Perfectly
Color: 1BK/1C/1Y/1M
I’ve been consistently purchasing this Hiipoo sublimation ink for my sublimation printers, and I’ve been extremely pleased with the results. The print quality is excellent, with vibrant colors and clean transfers every time. What I really appreciate is how true the final product turns out compared to my original designs. The colors stay accurate, and the finished results look exactly the way I intended, which is very important for my projects and products. This ink has been reliable and consistent, and I will definitely continue using it for my sublimation work.
