This led to "Grapevine" becoming a massive No. 1 smash and Gaye's commercial breakthrough, the biggest hit single ever for Motown at the time (so much so that the label even reissued the album under the song's title. The 1968 LP is rounded out by excellent covers of "Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever" and "There Goes My Baby."
