Kenwood KP-1100 / 9010 Direct Drive PPL Player Audiophile Home Turntable - 100V
A deceptive looking turntable hiding everything under near-blank looks. The KP-1100 was released in 1985, and was then replaced by the identical Kenwood KP-9010 in 1988. These highly sort after units were engineered for longevity, stability and excellent sound quality. Hidden under the plinth is a large X shaped die-cast frame which is the centre of Kenwoods closed loop frame structure. This die-cast base supports the motor and arm and ensures shelf decoupling via massive rubber feet. The plinth as well as the dustcover rest on the die-cast frame with no direct contact to motor, platter or arm. In this way the essential mechanical parts are shielded from vibrations captured by plinth or cover. People have been known to modify this turntable by removing the plinth all together thus exposing large die-cast base.

This is a used unit.
- This turntable shows a small amount of wear from general use over the years. This includes some light marks and nicks. The most obvious wear is that one of the silver button caps is missing. Overall it is still a nice piece. Please see photos for further details.
- Please note that in some photos the plinth looks black, however it does have that beautiful dark woodgrain colour.
- The dust cover on this unit not hinged and in good condition. It has lots of general scratches and marks. No major damage. Overall it is great to protect your new turntable while not in use and during transport.
- This unit will ship with an ADC headshell and Audio Technica cartridge and stylus. These have been used but are good to get you started.
- This KP-9010 has been thoroughly serviced and tested. It has no faults to note and is working as it should. The service included a thorough test, replace faulty switches, adjust lifter mechanism, grease main spindle bearing and calibrate end detect voltages.
- Please be aware this unit is 100V. This means it MUST be used with a step-down transformer, not a travel adaptor. If you are unsure about this please let us know. We have some great, compatible step-downs for sale here. They are designed in Australia for use in Australia and can be run 24/7.
- If you purchase from outside Australia you may need a step-down transformer to use this unit. Please contact us if you need any help sourcing the correct product.

Good product but smell doesn't last
Cleans and rinses great, does not dry out your skin. Smell great, not as strong as the Italian Bergamot, nor does it last after showering. Once you dry off, smell pretty much gone. Bergamot lasts a little better

Beyond my expectations…
Scent: Incredible 10/10. The entire shower smells like a spa afterwards. Woody notes, vanilla scent is deliciously heavy and warm, and even one pump delivers a punch of fresh vanilla scent to your entire body. I’m a woman who is in love with heavy earthy scents and this is it!
P.S it also matches well with scents like vanilla, cocoa butter, chocolate, or even delicious “smore” scents! I pair it with vanilla and cocoa butter scented deodorant, vanilla perfume, or vanilla body lotion and it works amazing!
Longevity: Lasts the entire day if I’m staying home just relaxing, not working out or sweating very much. I could shower in the early morning and by the time my head hits the pillow I still smell it faintly!
If I’m out and about it still lasts hours I’d estimate around 6-8 hours before the scent fades! If I shower at 6am, come home at 5pm-6pm after work I still smell fresh! (I always shower 2x a day but you don’t even need to with this!
Value for Money/Size: Oh absolutely! I think I bought this soap two weeks ago? Used it nearly every day, and you can’t even tell! One pump is enough, two pumps MAX per shower per day.
I decided to lavish myself by buying this soap, because it’s a bit more pricey. But it’s actually saving me more money, at this rate I’ll be buying another one of these every 3 months! So that’s…4 times a year? 5 max? That’s incredible. I’ll probably stick with Cremo for life honestly. And I’m a woman!💕🎀

A major upgrade from standard drugstore brands—sophisticated scent & better lather.
I have been a long-time user of standard body washes (think Old Spice, Axe, or Dove Men), but I kept seeing hype about Cremo and decided to see if it was worth the slightly higher price tag. After using the 32oz Spice & Black Vanilla for a week, I can confidently say this is a massive upgrade for your shower routine.
Here is how it stacks up against the typical grocery store brands:
1. The Scent is on another level:
Most cheaper washes smell like generic "Sport" or "Ocean" cologne. This scent is much more complex and earthy.
Top Notes: It starts with a sharp, spicy kick (that's the cardamom).
Finish: It settles into a smooth, warm vanilla and tobacco scent. It smells more like a high-end department store fragrance than a soap.
Staying Power: The scent actually lingers. If you shower in the morning, you will still catch subtle hints of the warm spices for a few hours, which pairs really well with woody colognes.
2. Performance & Feel:
The consistency is thicker than what I'm used to. You only need one solid pump to get a rich lather with a loofah. Crucially, it rinses clean without leaving that "squeaky" residue that dries out your skin, but it also doesn't leave a slick oily film like some ultra-moisturizing washes do. It hits a perfect balance.
3. Value:
The 32oz bottle is substantial. Because the gel is concentrated, I expect this bottle to last 3-4 months easily, making the cost per ounce very reasonable compared to buying smaller bottles of cheaper stuff every few weeks.
Pros:
Sophisticated, "grown-up" scent profile.
High-quality pump (sturdy, doesn't clog).
Non-drying formula is great for colder months.
Cons:
Potency: The scent is strong. If you are sensitive to fragrance or prefer unscented products, this might be overwhelming. The bathroom will smell like it for a good 20 minutes after you're done (which I enjoy, but keep it in mind).
Verdict:
This bridges the gap between basic hygiene and luxury grooming. If you are tired of smelling like "Blue Sport" and want something warmer and more refined for the fall/winter, this is absolutely worth the switch.
