A darling hummingbird ring from the Arts & Crafts (ca1910) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this lovely piece has a decorative navette-shaped design with an open center. Found within the oval-shaped cutout middle is a beautifully detailed hummingbird with drawn wings, drinking nectar from a leafy flower. Gorgeous pearly blue enameling is found at the top and bottom of the centerpiece and decorative carved flowers at the tips perfectly finish the design. The split shank shoulders merge seamlessly into a smoothly polished band and stamped along the shank is "STERLING," "©," a maker's mark and the number "86." A wonderful example of the Arts & Crafts era aesthetic, this beautiful ring makes a perfect statement piece!Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.75, but could easily be resized. The navette-shaped centerpiece measures a little under 1" tall, is approximately 3/8" wide, and rests a little less than 1/8" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling silver setting or enameling. There is a natural darkened patina within the grooves of the piece, which is normal and adds depth to the design.

Fairly stable. Good value for the price

Great set of stands. You have to tighten them pretty snugly to minimize wobble. Given they are metal they’ll have a little bit more give than solid wood. Even so,
a tall desk I built with them remains stable and level.

An incredibly thorough medicinal herb book
Format: Hardcover
I am a self taught herbalist for around 7 years. I love this series of books. I'd say it's not for beginners and novices. It's very thorough and gives formularies and uses for many different ailments.
It's an excellent investment if you want to really go deep into herbal medicine. These, by far, are in my top 10 books, and this has 5 volumes. They take up half of my favorites.
They go into the *hush hush* herbs as well which makes my heart skip a beat. But wait, theres an herb for that, Leonotis Nepetifolia. I think I'll recover, thanks to this book.
